I'm Eric Ekblade. I was born in Connecticut, have deep roots in the Derby area, and opened this agency in 2012 with a simple idea: people deserve an insurance agent who picks up the phone, explains things plainly and shows up when life goes sideways.

I'm a proud UConn alum (School of Business, Class of 2002) and a diehard Huskies fan, so if you call during a big game, don't be surprised if we talk a little basketball. When I'm not at the office, you'll usually find me in the stands cheering on my daughter and her teammates.
